On The Air
Nets and repeaters.
Where we meet, when we meet, and how to get into the system.
Schedule
Our nets.
Weekly Training Net
Tuesdays at 7:00 PM Central
The full linked N0NWS system
Our regular on-air practice net, open to everyone. Newly trained spotters are encouraged to check in and get comfortable passing a report before severe weather makes it count.
Severe Weather Net
Activated any time there are active warnings in the CWA
The full linked N0NWS system
Called by net control when warnings are issued for our county warning area. Spotters report ground truth that goes directly to NWS Springfield.
Repeaters
The N0NWS linked system.
Our nets run across the full linked system, so you can check in from whichever machine you can hit. All offsets are standard 2 meter; every site requires an encoded PL tone.
